Friendster pics picks (updated)

28 07 2007

Malaki ang naging impluwensiya, bad and good, ng Friendster, isang network of society of the different people across the land. Gets niyo ba?

Acknowledgment: Kila Dianne, Carl at Denib. Mga friends niyo ang makikitang pics dito.

Ateneo edges La Salle, 80-77

26 07 2007

The intensity of La Salle Green Archers and Ateneo Blue Eagles rivalry has soared to the highest level after these two teams have not face each other for two years. The blue-blooded Katipunan students have something to cheer for after the jam-packed game in Araneta.

The Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles past the mighty De La Salle Green Archers, 80-77 in a thrilling overtime at the elimination round of UAAP Season 70 Basketball seniors this night at Araneta Coliseum.

The two teams, which are considered as the top two favorites to win this year’s crown, were neck-to-neck from the very tip-off.

The Green Archers took the lead at the end of first quarter, 19-15.

Chris Tiu delivered the goods for the Blue Eagles as he made clutch shots to even the score at 30 at the half time.

Jai Reyes sparked in the third quarter, benching Eric Salamat, sending Ateneo in front after three quarters, 52-47.

Blue Eagles continued their domination early in the fourth quarter, widening the gap as much as 11.

JV Casio of the Green Archers fired up to tie the game at 65 after the regulation.

The Eagles had a five point lead at one stretch in the overtime but the fierce Archers trimmed the lead to one, 75-74.

Deadly shooter Tiu notched a three pointer in the side 21.1 seconds remaining. The Eagles never looked back. Rico Maierhofer attempted a desperate three pointer at the buzzer but the ball did not even touch the rim.

Jai Reyes led the offense of Eagles with 21 points. Tiu added 16 markers and 6 boards to send Ateneo to solo second place with 4-1 record.

The Archers absorbed their second straight loss with 3-2 win-loss record.

It was Coach Norman Black’s first win against La Salle’s Franz Pumaren after four attempts.

Pumaren has a 17-11 record against Ateneo.

In the earlier match , Unversity of Santo Tomas gained their third straight win of the campaign, sweeping National University.

UST is tied in third with La Salle, 3-2. NU drop to sixth place with 2-3 card.

Wow. First sports-related entry ko rn ata to.

Do Something Great: A Play Review on Passion of the Christ Offstage Edition

    22 07 2007

Kahapon, nanood ako ng Passion of The Christ ng Dulaang UP. First time ko yun.

In fairness, maganda ang English accent niya. Windang nga ako. Naalala ko siya dun sa Bayani. Siya yung gumanap na Gregorio del Pilar.

Nakaupo ako sa Center, Row 6, Seat No.13.

PhP 25 ang Purefoods Hotdog on stick. PhP 30 naman pag may tinapay.

PhP 30 ang cheesedog on stick.

As in gabi, super.
